Wonders of Willapa

Join us Saturday at 6 p.m. at Tarlatt Slough, and listen to the night at the Wonders of Willapa. Bring your friends and family with flashlights and binoculars to hike the Tarlatt trail. Along the way meet experts from the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge; learn about local history from the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum; meet Aaron Webster as he presents “Large Mammals; Black Bear, Elk and Deer;” talk to bird migration specialist Ben Welton, the Burd Nurd, as he presents Meals of Mud along with several exceptional bird mounts; and view the night sky with Bob Duke’s powerful telescope and see our galaxy as you have never seen it before.
