Peninsula Clay Artists 6th Annual Show & Sale

The Peninsula Clay Artists show and sale is in full swing! Be sure to stop by and view the beautiful works created by local Peninsula Clay Artists at the Artisan in Ilwaco through August 16. Take one of their great classes and learn how to create beautiful pieces of art from the masters! There will be many different workshops in the studio and kiln yard. The show will be open 10AM-5PM daily. Admission is free and you will have the opportunity to see brilliant works by local artists.  through August 16


Columbia Pacific Farmers’ Market

Be sure to stop by the Friday Farmers Market in downtown Long Beach from 3-7PM on Fridays through October 10. Come see what’s fresh at the Market located at Veterans Field in downtown Long Beach. This week’s theme is “Fowl & Feather Festival,” come play Chicken Poop Bingo and see baby chicks! Fridays, August 8


 Surf n’ Saddle Jr. Rodeo

The Peninsula Saddle Club is hosting the 3rd annual Surf n’ Saddle Junior Rodeo at the Rodeo Grounds located in Long Beach on Sandridge Road. A Rodeo Parade through downtown Long Beach will kick off the weekend at 6:30PM on Friday, August 8. Events start on Saturday, August 9 and goes through the 10th, daily events start 9am with a delicious cowboy breakfast kicking off each day from 7-11AM. August 8-10


Waikiki Beach Concert

The FREE Waikiki Beach Concert Series continues Saturday, July 26 and will have shows through the summer season at Cape Disappointment State Park in Ilwaco every 2nd and 4th Saturday through August. Performances start at 7PM. This concert will feature The Ben Rice Band, a Rockabilly, swamp Rock, and soul infused country band. A Washington State Park’s Discover Pass is required for your vehicle. August 9


Saturday Market at the Port

Head to the Port of Ilwaco for Saturay Market at the Port! Stroll along the beautiful waterfront, take in the sights and sounds of this busy market and take home some delicious treats, fresh flowers and veggies. Check out local art galleries and book a Charter Fishing Trip while you are there! August 9


Fiddler on the Roof

The reviews are in and the PAPA Theater’s rendition of Fiddler on the Roof is a hit! Don’t miss your LAST chance to see the show performed at the Fort Columbia State Park Theater this weekend through August 10. Friday & Saturday shows begin at 7pm and Sunday’s show at 2pm. A Discover Pass is not required to attend this show. August 8-10


We’re Still Here

The Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco is proud to announce the opening of their latest show “We’re Still Here – The Survival of Washington Indians.” Come learn the fascinating and continuing story of Native American people in Washington. Rare images and colorful artifacts will tell the compelling history and personal stories. An installation of paintings, drawings, and carvings will also be on display that draws upon long, local history of the Chinook Tribe and their important presence within our community.  Through September 28
