TONS OF TRAINS! Stop by the Museum to see their Trains! Two trains are available for viewing year-round. One is upstairs in their permanent collection and the other is in the Ilwaco Train Depot and follows the path of the Clamshell Railroad on a diorama of the Peninsula. Check out the Holiday Train setup in the Gift Shop downstairs. Be sure to check out the REAL train car, The Nahcotta, from the Historic Clamshell Railroad while you are there!

The Shelburne Inn features a classic toy train set, on loan from Lionel Trains, chugging around their beautifully decorated tree in their elegant, vintage lobby. Take a seat next to their warm fireplace, listen to the train whistle blow and take in the view of the steam billowing up from the engine! This Historic property is the longest continuously operated Inn in Washington state, operating for over 117 years!

It takes two people about three days to set up this extravagant train and town set! Come and view the Peninsula on a smaller scale! The back dining area houses this magical display where you can look for some of your favorite local businesses in tiny train town form! Come and sing jolly Christmas Carols and even a few Crabby Christmas Carols written especially for the lighting of the “World’s Tallest Crab Pot Christmas Tree.” Stay for the “World’s Shortest Firework Display” and the Lighted Boat Parade.
